  • Will my health insurance cover HealthTouch services?

    Most clients with PPO insurance receive reimbursement for my therapy services. I am typically considered an out-of-network provider by PPO plans. Many PPO plans offer reimbursement for skilled therapy services provided by state-licensed therapists. Clients are required to pay at the time of service, as I do not directly bill insurance companies. I provide a statement for insurance submission upon request.   • Why hasn't my doctor recommended myofascial release?

    While awareness of myofascial release's effectiveness is growing among physicians, many still rely on traditional pain management methods such as medication and standard physical therapy prescriptions. These conventional approaches often prove ineffective for many clients. At HealthTouch Pain Solutions, I offer personalized treatment from highly qualified therapists, tailored to each client's specific needs. This approach typically leads to faster improvement and resolution of issues. Additionally, some physicians face financial disincentives for referring clients outside their HMO network, which can limit treatment options for clients. My clinic focuses on providing effective, results-oriented therapy.
  • How can I make the most of my session?

    To optimize your session, reflect on your symptoms before arrival, considering when they began, what alleviates them, and what exacerbates them. Identify specific areas where you need assistance. You'll collaborate with your therapist to improve mobility and reduce pain or stiffness. Avoid applying skin lotions or shower gels prior to your appointment, as these can interfere with treatment effectiveness. I recommend arriving approximately five minutes before your scheduled session time.
